Yoga and meditative practices to soothe the soul

My yoga classes are intended to relax mind, body and soul. No prior yoga experience is necessary for these gentle classes. And don’t let a lack of flexibility dissuade you either. The classes employ the use of props like blocks, blankets and pillows to help support the body… Kind of like a spa day. We are looking to let go and release in these classes more so than be able to touch our toes (although that might be a side benefit!).

Restorative Yin Yoga

Release your week with Restorative Yin Yoga. This class gives you longer holds and supported postures to relieve stress, improve flexibility, and promote a calm, peaceful mind. The combination of restorative and yin yoga postures help to activate the “rest and digest” parasympathetic nervous system, guiding you to relax and unwind in both body and mind.

Gentle Yoga and Meditation

A class with gentle yoga poses to move the body and open the energy channels. We’ll explore various meditation techniques as well, like breathwork, mantra and mudra.
